Our Karur Manufacturing Facility
Our Infrastructure
25,000 sq ft facility spanning three buildings: design/office center, embroidery/stitching production hall, raw materials warehouse. Located in Karur, Tamil Nadu—a major textile manufacturing hub with established supply chains for yarns, dyes, and materials.
Production Equipment
- 100 industrial sewing machines (various stitch types and capacity ranges: standard hemstitching, heavy-duty double-stitch, precision finishes, binding machines)
- 40+ weaving looms (producing custom fabrics 180-500 GSM range; includes both traditional and jacquard looms for patterned weaves)
- Dye house: 8-10 vats (batch immersion dyeing, custom color matching, 100+ Pantone library capability, temperature-controlled)
- Screen printing equipment (1-4 color designs, manual/semi-automatic setups, squeegees, screens, ink systems)
- Digital printing machine (full-color photographic capability, high-resolution output, direct-to-fabric printing)
- Embroidery digitization workstation (CAD software, design revision capability, no outsourcing)
- Embroidery machines: 60+ (dedicated embroidery production capacity for logos, text, custom designs, monogramming)
- Testing lab equipment (color fastness tester per IEC 60105-B02, shrinkage testing apparatus, tensile strength tester for seams, microscope for print adhesion inspection)
Quality Control Process
Sequential quality gates at each production step—no batch moves forward if it fails inspection:
- Raw materials: Incoming yarn tested for weight, shrinkage, strength before entering production
- After weaving: Fabric inspected for density, defects, shrinkage (on sample fabric)
- After dyeing: Color fastness tested (fade resistance in wash and light); shrinkage measured; batch retested if it fails
- After printing: Ink adhesion checked (no ruboff); color accuracy verified against approved sample; coverage checked for gaps
- During stitching: Thread tension verified; seam strength tested mid-production (not just end inspection); hemlines checked for consistency
- After embroidery: Test embroidery approved by client before full batch; digitization quality verified
- Final inspection: 100% visual inspection of all pieces before packing; defects are photographed and reworked
Defect rate target: less than 0.5% (industry standard is 1-2% for comparable suppliers). Any batch exceeding target stays in production until it meets standard. This is why we rarely have returns—quality gates are strict.
